Vintage 1960s MCM Salem China Platter- Mandarin Pattern
This product is unavailable
The Salem China Company, started in 1898 in Salem, Ohio. They designed and manufactured dishware for over 60 years. This hard-to-find Mandarin pattern featuring mustard and orange-red falling leaves was made during the 1960's, the last decade the pottery operated as designers and manufacturers. Burned to the ground as a result of a fire in 2017, the factory, tragically, has been lost to the hands of history. Luckily though, this platter survives, a perfect example of mid century artistry.
