Vintage MCM 1964 Kemps Biscuit Tin Celebrity Ice Bucket

This is an ice bucket that was originally sold as a biscuit tin that held Kemps Cheebix Cheese Crisps.  As you will see from the inside it turned a bit orange. The piece was made by Barat Ware and sold in 1964  It has raised images of alcohol related items - glasses, bottles, fruit slices, tongs and ice, cherries etc. The interior is lined in vinyl ( we don't recommend using for ice)which is now discolored and the handle is made of brown vinyl covered metal. It measures 8 1/2” in height to the top of the lid’s knob finial and has a diameter of 6 1/4”. It is in good condition with no major dents or scratches except for a bit of paint wear and patina in the metal.  This is a wonderful vintage barware piece - also great item to add to your vintage tin collection!
