1960s Fred Press Frosted White & 22-Karat Gold Atomic Starburst Collins Glasses - Set of 8

This is a set of 8 Fred Press Gold Atomic  Collins glasses. Half clear and half frosted with Gold starburst on the clear side and gold mini starbursts on the frosted side. Signed Fred Press on the bottom. Perfect for you barcart or dining table. Great vintage and preloved condition.  No chips, cracks or repairs.

Who is Fred Press?   Fred Press is credited with revolutionizing the giftware industry with his colorful designs of glassware and barware. He used 22-karat and 24-carat gold on his works. Early in the 1950’s, he moved to New York City and for the next three decades, as chief designer and executive Vice President of Rubel and Company, revolutionized the giftware industry on New York’s Fifth Avenue. The Museum of Modern Art, NY awarded him a good design award for his numerous multi-media products.
