MCM 1950s Ceramic Two Plate Patio Tidbit Server

This is an adorable and fun two tiered, two ceramic plate tidbit server from the 1950's. Made in Japan, this server is named 'Patio'. It is has a whimsical hand painted design on both plates of kitchen/cooking items - a salad bowl with tongs, a frying pan, a bottle and a basket of fruit accented with graphics and leaves. Colors featured are green, burgundy, salmon, beige, chartreuse and black. The handle at the top and the extension in between the plates is made of turned wood with brass accents. Marked on the bottom is 'Japan Patio Hand painted'. The edge design around the plates is scalloped. A great vintage serving piece.
